**Srinagar, [Date of Publication]** – The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season will commence on March 22nd with a clash between defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. The same venue will also host the final on May 25th.

According to sources, Dharamsala and Guwahati will again feature as IPL venues this year. Dharamsala will serve as a second home ground for Punjab Kings, alongside Mullanpur, while Rajasthan Royals will utilize Guwahati alongside their home base in Jaipur.

While the official schedule is yet to be released by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), it is expected early next week. The BCCI is also expected to release the full list of venues and matches in this announcement.

Chennai Super Kings, led by Ruturaj Gaikwad, will begin their campaign on March 23rd against Hardik Pandya’s Mumbai Indians.
