Sat Feb 15 15:10:00 UTC 2025: ## Mumbai Indians Post 164/10 Against Delhi Capitals in WPL 2025 Thriller

**Vadodara, India:** The Mumbai Indians set a challenging 164-run target for the Delhi Capitals in their Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025 clash at the Kotambi Stadium in Vadodara. Nat Sciver-Brunt anchored the Mumbai innings with a magnificent unbeaten 80, studded with 13 boundaries. Captain Harmanpreet Kaur contributed a valuable 42, but the rest of the Mumbai batting lineup struggled, failing to reach double figures.

Delhi Capitals captain Meg Lanning won the toss and opted to field first. The decision seemed fruitful initially, as Delhi made early inroads, dismissing Yastika Bhatia (11) and Hayley Matthews (0). However, a crucial 73-run partnership between Harmanpreet and Sciver-Brunt steadied the Mumbai ship. After Harmanpreet’s departure, a late-innings collapse saw Mumbai lose their last seven wickets for a meager addition to the score.

Annabel Sutherland was the standout bowler for Delhi, claiming three crucial wickets, including that of Harmanpreet. Shikha Pandey also impressed, taking 2 wickets for just 14 runs in her four overs. Alice Capsey and Minnu Mani chipped in with a wicket each. Despite the late collapse, Sciver-Brunt’s heroics ensured Mumbai posted a competitive total, leaving Delhi needing 165 runs for victory.
