**Krishnagiri, February 15, 2025** – A District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee meeting was held in Krishnagiri today, chaired by MP K. Gopinath and presided over by District Collector C. Dinesh Kumar. The meeting focused on the progress of various government schemes across several departments, including rural development, Panchayati Raj, local body administration, TANGEDCO, agriculture, forests, animal husbandry, and the Tamil Nadu Water and Drainage Board.
Key schemes reviewed included the National Urban Mission, MNREGS, PM Awas Yojana, PM Rural Roads scheme, Jal Jeevan Mission, Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana, Grameen Upadyaya Kaushalya Yojana, National Agriculture Expansion Programme, PM Fasal Bima Yojana, National Bamboo Mission, and schemes focused on girl child education and protection. The meeting emphasized the importance of quality infrastructure and ensuring beneficiaries receive the intended benefits of these schemes. Implementing departments were urged to prioritize these goals.
