Mon Feb 10 15:48:52 UTC 2025: ## SBI Releases Admit Cards for Clerk Preliminary Exam; 19.9 Lakh Candidates to Take Test

**Mumbai, India** – The State Bank of India (SBI) released admit cards for the preliminary examination of its Clerk recruitment drive on Monday. Nearly 19.9 lakh (19,89,945) candidates will compete for 14,191 vacancies across the country.

The preliminary exam is tentatively scheduled for February 22nd, 27th, 28th, and March 1st, 2025. Candidates can download their admit cards from the official SBI website (www.sbi.co.in) until March 1st, 2025. Separate admit cards will be issued for the preliminary and main examinations. Only candidates whose applications were accepted will receive admit cards for the preliminary exam; those who qualify will then receive admit cards for the mains.

The preliminary exam will be a 100-mark online test lasting one hour, encompassing English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability sections. There will be negative marking (one-fourth of the marks deducted for incorrect answers).

Candidates are required to bring their admit card, a photo ID (not a ration card or learner’s driving license), a photocopy of the photo ID stapled to the admit card, two additional photographs, and the “acquaint yourself” booklet. Candidates with special abilities must submit a self-declaration form during and at the time of joining.

The recruitment process consists of two stages: preliminary and main examinations. Further details regarding the main examination will be released later.
