**Mumbai, India** – Veteran actor Mukesh Khanna, known for his roles as Shaktimaan and Bhishma Pitamah, has strongly condemned Ranveer Allahbadia’s controversial question posed on the comedy show *India’s Got Latest*. Allahbadia, a popular YouTuber, asked a contestant to choose between watching their parents have sex daily or participating once to end it.
The question, which aired on Samay Raina’s show and also featured Ashish Chanchlani, Jaspreet Singh, and Apoorva Mukhija, sparked widespread outrage. Khanna, in a video posted on his YouTube channel, called the joke a “serious offense” and demanded accountability. He advocated for harsh measures, suggesting Allahbadia be “beaten,” paraded through the nation on a donkey with a blackened face.
Khanna further criticized the lack of objection from other participants and blamed the current generation’s perceived excessive freedom of expression. He stated, “There needs to be a limit to everything, even freedom of expression.” He concluded by saying that if he were his superhero character Shaktimaan, he would have dealt with the situation differently.
Allahbadia has since apologized for his “inappropriate” and “unfunny” comment, but the damage has been done. An FIR has been filed against Allahbadia, Raina, Mukhija, and the show itself for allegedly using abusive language. The controversial episode has been removed from YouTube, and a parliamentary panel is considering summoning Allahbadia. The incident highlights the ongoing debate surrounding the boundaries of freedom of expression and the responsibilities of public figures.
