**Puducherry, February 10, 2025** – Government school students in Puducherry participated in the 8th edition of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC) program, which was live-streamed at Kamban Kalai Arangam. Lieutenant Governor K. Kailashnathan, Speaker R. Selvam, Home Minister and Education Minister A. Namassivayam, and Chief Secretary Sharat Chauhan were in attendance.

The event, hosted by the Directorate of School Education, saw students, parents, and teachers engage with the Prime Minister ahead of board examinations. Following the livestream, Lt. Governor Kailashnathan shared anecdotes from his student days. Minister Namassivayam announced that approximately 80% of students passed the recent government-conducted model board examination based on the CBSE pattern. He also highlighted ongoing initiatives to improve teaching standards in government schools. Education Secretary P. Jawahar and Director of School Education P. Priytarshny were also present.
