**New Delhi, February 10, 2025** – Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed students from across India on Monday at the eighth annual Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC) program, emphasizing a stress-free approach to exams. Departing from the traditional town hall format, Modi engaged with approximately 35 students in a more informal setting at Delhi’s Sunder Nursery.
The Prime Minister stressed that exams should not define a student’s life, encouraging them to view knowledge and examinations as distinct entities. He advised students to manage their time effectively, explore their passions, and focus on personal growth rather than solely on marks. Modi also urged parents to avoid comparisons and excessive pressure on their children, highlighting the importance of support and understanding.
The discussion covered various topics, including time management, positive thinking, nutrition, meditation, and the development of leadership qualities. Modi used the analogy of a cricketer focusing on the next ball despite stadium pressure to illustrate how students should handle exam stress. He encouraged self-competition and continuous improvement, rather than comparison with others.
This year’s PPC also featured prominent figures such as Deepika Padukone, MC Mary Kom, and Sadhguru, who shared their insights on life and learning with students.
