**Hyderabad, February 10, 2025** – A 37-year-old man, Thotakura Shravan Kumar, is fighting for his life after setting himself on fire outside his wife’s workplace in Secunderabad’s Patny area on Sunday night. Police report that Mr. Kumar, who sustained over 90% burns, is currently hospitalized at Gandhi Hospital in critical condition.
The incident followed an alleged dispute with his wife, who works at a clothing store in the area. Mr. Kumar, a resident of Kavadiguda, arrived at the store carrying three bottles of petrol. During a confrontation, he poured petrol on himself and ignited it near the store entrance. Passersby immediately intervened and alerted the police, who rushed him to the hospital.
