**Mumbai, [Date of Publication]** – The State Bank of India (SBI) announced today that it will be recruiting 14,191 Junior Associates (Customer Support and Sales) in 2025. The recruitment process will begin with a preliminary examination scheduled for February 22, 27, 28, and March 1, 2025. Admit cards for the preliminary exam will be available for download starting February 10, 2025.
The preliminary exam will be an online, objective-type test consisting of 100 questions (30 English Language, 35 Numerical Ability, and 35 Reasoning Ability) totaling 100 marks. Candidates will have one hour to complete the exam, with a 20-minute time limit for each section. There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer. There are no minimum qualifying marks for individual sections.
Candidates who clear the preliminary exam will be shortlisted for the main examination. Approximately ten times the number of vacancies will be selected for the main exam based on their aggregate scores.
The main examination will consist of 190 questions totaling 200 marks and lasting 2 hours and 40 minutes. It will be divided into four sections: General/Financial Awareness (50 questions, 50 marks, 35 minutes), General English (40 questions, 40 marks, 35 minutes), Quantitative Aptitude (50 questions, 50 marks, 45 minutes), and Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude (50 questions, 60 marks, 45 minutes).
