**Tiruchi, Tamil Nadu – February 9, 2025** – The Tamil Nadu government will release a comprehensive report in March detailing sexual harassment cases in schools across the state, registered under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. School Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi made the announcement Sunday following the 13th State Conference of the Tamil Nadu Government-Aided School Officers’ Association in Tiruchi.
The report will include details on cases resulting in acquittals and those still under trial. The Minister criticized AIADMK leader Edappadi K. Palaniswami for commenting on the recent Erode Assembly bypoll results without contesting the election himself, highlighting the DMK’s consistent engagement with the public as a key factor in their electoral success.
