**New Delhi, February 8, 2025** – The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has secured a resounding victory in the Delhi Assembly elections, ending the Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) seven-year rule. Early trends indicated a significant lead for the BJP, which ultimately translated into a projected win of around 40 seats, compared to AAP’s approximately 29. The Congress party secured a mere 1 seat.
