**Chennai, February 6, 2025** – A 24-year-old junior artist in the Tamil film industry, S. Hari, was arrested Thursday by the Virugambakkam All-Women Police Station on charges of sexually abusing a 14-year-old boy.
According to police, the incident occurred last week at a park near the victim’s home. Hari, posing as a film actor and showing the boy social media photos of himself with popular actors, allegedly abused the ninth-grade student. Following a complaint by the boy’s parents, police investigated CCTV footage from the area and discovered evidence supporting the allegations. Further investigation revealed Hari may have been involved in similar incidents previously.
