Wed Feb 05 18:58:37 UTC 2025: ## JEE Main 2025 Session 1 Answer Key Released; Objections Open Until February 6th

**New Delhi, February 2, 2025** – The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the answer key for the JEE Main 2025 Session 1 examination. Candidates can now access and download the answer key from the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in, using their application number and password.

Candidates who have objections to any of the answers have until February 6th to raise them. A fee of ₹200 per question will be charged for submitting an objection. These objections will be reviewed by subject matter experts, and a final answer key will be released subsequently. The NTA has clarified that objections without supporting evidence will not be considered.

The JEE Main 2025 Session 1 exam was conducted on January 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 28th, 29th, and 30th, 2025, in two shifts daily. Results are expected to be declared on February 12th, 2025.

Meanwhile, the application process for JEE Main 2025 Session 2 has commenced today, February 2nd, 2025, and will continue until February 25th, 2025. Candidates can apply through the official website.

The final NTA score, calculated based on the best of both sessions, will determine students’ ranks. The top 250,000 rank holders in JEE Main will be eligible to apply for the JEE Advanced test, the gateway to admission in the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). Eligibility for JEE Advanced also requires a minimum of 75% marks in class 12th or being among the top 20 percentile of their respective boards.

JEE Main Paper-1 is for admission to undergraduate engineering programs at NITs, IIITs, and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs), while Paper-2 is for architecture and planning courses.
