**NEW DELHI** – A series of images circulating on social media purporting to show Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan with American professional wrestlers Ronda Rousey and Roman Reigns at the Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, have been debunked as AI-generated fakes.
The photos, which have been widely shared with claims of the unlikely encounter, were analyzed by fact-checking website BOOM using an AI image detection tool. The tool determined that the images were over 80% likely to be AI-generated or deepfakes. Specifically, one image scored 85.8% AI-generated, and another scored 81.5%.
Reverse image searches failed to find any credible sources supporting the authenticity of the photographs. Therefore, the claims that Shah Rukh Khan attended the Maha Kumbh Mela with Ronda Rousey and Roman Reigns are unfounded. The images are a product of artificial intelligence and should not be considered real.
