Thu Feb 06 14:27:04 UTC 2025: ## Belagavi Rural Officials Awarded for MGNREGA Success

**Belagavi, Karnataka, February 6, 2025** – Five state-level awards were presented to Belagavi’s Rural Development and Panchayat Raj (RDPR) officials at the MGNREGA Habba-2025 celebrations in Bengaluru. The awards recognize the officials’ effective implementation of various schemes under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA).

Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Rahul Shinde, along with officers Ravi Bangareppanavar, Basavaraju, and Pramod Godekar, received the Amrut Sarovar Award. Mr. Shinde and other officers, including Shivanagouda Patil and K.S. Goravar, were also honored with the Best District Integration Award for their collaborative efforts across different departments.

The Kotabagi Gram Panchayat of Hukkeri taluk won the Best Gram Panchayat Award, with officers T.R. Malnada, Niranjan Kurabet, Lakshminarayana, and Gram Panchayat president Basavaraj Gosuri accepting the accolade. Anita Tukaram Belagaokar, Ramesh Hedage, and Ramesh Madar received the Best Kayaka Bandhu Award for their exemplary work on the Kayaka Bandhu scheme.

The awards ceremony was attended by prominent figures including Legislative Council Chairman Basavaraj Horatti, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Minister Priyank Kharge, MLA Rizwan Arshad, and Commissioner Pawan Kumar Malpati.
