SOLAPUR, MAHARASHTRA – Stand-up comedian Pranit More was allegedly assaulted by 10 to 12 individuals in Solapur, Maharashtra, following a performance on Sunday, February 2nd, 2025. The attackers were reportedly angered by jokes More made targeting actor Veer Pahariya, grandson of former State Chief Minister Sushilkumar Shinde, who starred in the recently released film *Sky Force*.
A police complaint, filed by the owner of the restaurant where the show took place, led to the registration of a case against the assailants.
