
Tue Feb 04 20:13:45 UTC 2025: **Hyderabad Students Shine at The Hindu FIC Quiz Competition**
HYDERABAD, February 5, 2025 – Over 450 undergraduate students from 54 colleges across Telangana participated in a quiz competition jointly organized by The Hindu Future India Club (FIC) and the Institute of Public Enterprise (IPE) on Tuesday. The event, held at the Sundarayya Vignana Kendram, marked the fourth in a series of similar quizzes held across Andhra Pradesh and Odisha.
Md. Safiuddin and SMM Ali from PRR Law College secured first place, while Syed Mohammad Hashmi and Syed Abdul Mannan from Osmania Medical College took second. The competition, which featured a preliminary round with 225 two-person teams and a final round with six teams, showcased impressive knowledge and healthy competition amongst participants.
Professor K.V. Anantha Kumar of IPE highlighted the institute’s commitment to organizing such events to encourage student engagement. Chief Postmaster General (Telangana) P.V.S. Reddy presented awards to the winners, commending their participation. Awards were also given to several other teams, including those from CMR College of Engineering, Shadan Institute of Medical Sciences, RBVRR Women’s College, and Omega Degree College. The event was attended by several professors from IPE and The Hindu’s General Manager, S.D.T. Rao.
