Wed Feb 05 00:35:00 UTC 2025: ## Maharashtra Congress Leader Slams BJP-led Government for Corruption and Inaction

**Mumbai, February 5, 2025** – Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee President Nana Patole launched a strong attack on the BJP-led state government Tuesday, accusing it of widespread corruption and internal conflicts. Patole claimed that corruption has thrived under all BJP-led administrations, citing the Dhananjay Munde controversy as evidence of infighting within the ruling coalition. He questioned Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s silence on the allegations against Munde, suggesting a breakdown in unity between the BJP, Ajit Pawar’s NCP, and Shinde’s Shiv Sena.

Patole further criticized the government’s handling of critical issues such as farmer distress, deteriorating law and order, and women’s safety. He highlighted significant losses suffered by farmers and accused the government of prioritizing foreign affairs over domestic concerns.

He also expressed outrage over claims made by Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut about alleged superstitious practices at the Chief Minister’s residence, stating that such actions are unacceptable in Maharashtra. Patole further condemned the alleged disrespect of historical figures, demanding strong action against those responsible. The Congress leader’s statement comes amidst growing political tensions in the state.
