Wed Feb 05 03:11:32 IST 2025: ## JEE Main 2025 Session 1 Answer Key Released; Objection Window Open
**NEW DELHI, February 1, 2025** – The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the provisional answer key for the JEE Main 2025 Session 1 examination. Candidates can now access the key, along with their recorded responses and question papers, on the official NTA website: jeemain.nta.nic.in.
The Session 1 exam for Paper 1 (BE/B.Tech) was conducted from January 22nd to 29th, with two shifts daily. Paper 2 (B.Arch/B.Planning) was held on January 30th.
Candidates have until February 6th, 2025, to challenge any answers they believe to be incorrect. Objections must be submitted online with a non-refundable fee of ₹200 per challenged question. Challenges lacking justification or submitted through channels other than the prescribed online link will not be considered.
The NTA will review all challenges and release a final answer key, which will be used to determine the results. Results are expected to be declared by February 12th, 2025. Individual candidates will not be notified of the acceptance or rejection of their challenges.
In the event a question is deemed incorrect and subsequently dropped, full marks will be awarded to all candidates for that question. The marking scheme awards +4 marks for correct answers, -1 for incorrect answers, and 0 for unanswered or marked-for-review questions. In cases where multiple options are correct, only those who selected at least one correct option will receive full marks.
The NTA has also announced that online registration for JEE Main Session 2 has commenced. Candidates can register at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
