Wed Feb 05 14:28:11 IST 2025: ## Delhi Exit Polls Awaited After Assembly Elections Conclude
**New Delhi, February 5, 2025** – Voting concluded today in the Delhi Legislative Assembly elections, with 1.56 crore eligible voters casting their ballots. The Election Commission of India (ECI) facilitated a smooth voting process, including special provisions for 733 polling stations to accommodate voters with disabilities. The final results will be announced on February 8th.
However, all eyes are now on the upcoming exit polls, which will offer early predictions of the election outcome. While exit polls are not always accurate, they provide an initial indication of public sentiment and potential winning parties. Their reliability depends on factors such as voter honesty, margin of error, and sample size.
According to the Representation of the People Act, 1951, the publication or broadcast of exit polls is prohibited until voting concludes. This prevents influencing voter choices. Following the completion of voting today, several polling agencies, including IPSOS, CVoter, Today’s Chanakya, and Axis My India, are expected to release their predictions.
The Hindu will provide live updates and analysis of the Delhi exit polls. Stay tuned for further developments.
