**Kochi, Kerala –** The uncle of 15-year-old Mihir Ahammed, who died by suicide last month, has revealed harrowing details of the relentless bullying his nephew endured, culminating in a final, humiliating ordeal on the day of his death. Musthafa PC, CEO of ID Fresh Foods, shared a heartbreaking Instagram post detailing the abuse Mihir suffered at the hands of fellow students.
According to Musthafa, Mihir was targeted for his dark complexion and subjected to “brutal ragging, bullying, and physical assault.” The abuse included being forcibly taken to a washroom, made to lick a toilet seat, and having his head pushed into a flushing toilet. Following this incident, his tormentors reportedly taunted him as “poopyhead.”
The uncle further revealed chilling screenshots of messages exchanged between Mihir’s attackers, who continued their cruelty even after his death, referring to him with racial slurs. Musthafa stated he was “crying” upon seeing these messages.
Mihir’s mother, Rajna PM, previously reported similar accounts, alleging that the school attempted to suppress the truth and that the Vice Principal also harassed her son. She stated that through investigations with friends and social media, the extent of the abuse became clear.
Following Mihir’s suicide on January 15th, where he jumped from the 26th floor of his apartment building, Kerala Education Minister V Sivankutty ordered an inquiry into the incident. The Kerala State Commission for Protection of Child Rights has also taken note. Musthafa PC is now calling for justice for Mihir and systemic changes to prevent similar tragedies. He expressed faith in the legal system while urging the nation to support the fight for a safer environment for all children. The investigation into Mihir’s death and the alleged school involvement continues.
