**New Delhi, February 7** – Delhi is all set for its Assembly elections tomorrow, February 8th. A total of 1.56 crore voters across 70 constituencies will exercise their franchise between 7 AM and 6 PM. The Election Commission of India (ECI) has completed all preparations for the single-phase polling. Vote counting and declaration of results are scheduled for February 10th.
The 70 constituencies comprise 58 general seats and 12 SC reserved seats. Of the total electorate, 83.49 lakh are male voters and 71.74 lakh are female voters. A significant number of young voters, 25.89 lakh aged 20-29, and 2.08 lakh first-time voters (aged 18-19) are expected to participate. Special arrangements have been made for 79,430 Persons with Disabilities (PWD) voters and 830 voters above 100 years of age, as well as over 1.09 lakh voters above 85 years of age. There are also 1,261 transgender voters registered in Delhi. The entire election process will conclude by February 10th.
