Tue Feb 04 17:08:02 UTC 2025: ## João Félix Seals Loan Move to Milan After Short Chelsea Stint

**London/Milan –** Portuguese forward João Félix has ended his tumultuous time at Chelsea, joining AC Milan on loan for the remainder of the season. The move comes just six months after Chelsea shelled out £45 million for the player. Milan will pay a loan fee of approximately £5 million for Félix, whose wages will be entirely covered by the Italian club.

Félix, who scored seven goals in 20 appearances for Chelsea across all competitions, expressed frustration over limited playing time under manager Enzo Maresca. He’ll now hope for more opportunities under Sérgio Conceição at Milan. His departure facilitated Atlético Madrid’s acquisition of Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher.

Chelsea have seen a flurry of other departures this window. England left-back Ben Chilwell has joined Crystal Palace on loan, while centre-back Axel Disasi moved to Aston Villa. Midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka has also left, signing a loan deal with Borussia Dortmund, which includes an option for a permanent transfer. The club is also finalizing a deal for St-Étienne midfielder Mathis Amougou, reportedly for around £12 million. Meanwhile, despite similar frustrations to Félix, forward Christopher Nkunku remains at Chelsea.
