**PANAJI, GOA** – Sunkara Krishna Prasad Chowdary, a Tollywood film producer who was arrested in June on drug charges, was found dead in a Goa hotel room today. Police have confirmed the death and are investigating, though initial reports suggest suicide.
Chowdary, who hails from Bonakal mandal in Khammam district, Telangana, entered the film industry in 2016. He served as an associate producer on the film *Kabali* and was involved in the distribution of several Telugu and Tamil films, including *Sardar Gabbar Singh*, *Arjun Suravaram*, and *Seetamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu*.
His arrest by Cyberabad police on June 14, 2023, followed allegations of drug trafficking. Police seized 87.75 grams of cocaine, 90 cocaine packets, ₹2.05 lakh in cash, four mobile phones, and a car during a search of his residence in Rajendra Nagar.
