Sun Feb 02 23:20:00 UTC 2025: ## Kejriwal Accuses Rival Party of Vote-Buying Scheme Ahead of Delhi Elections
**New Delhi, February 3, 2025** – Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal has accused a rival political party of attempting to rig the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections through a vote-buying scheme. In a video statement released on Sunday, Kejriwal alleged that party workers are offering ₹3,000 to slum dwellers in exchange for applying indelible ink to their fingers, mimicking the act of voting. This, he claims, is designed to disenfranchise voters and potentially lead to false accusations of voter fraud.
Kejriwal warned that accepting the bribe and having the ink applied could lead to arrest and imprisonment on charges of electoral fraud, citing past cases where innocent individuals served lengthy jail sentences due to such scams. He urged voters to remain vigilant and avoid any involvement in such schemes.
No response has yet been received from any opposing party or electoral authority. The accusations come as campaigning intensifies ahead of the Delhi Assembly elections.
