Sun Feb 02 17:30:47 UTC 2025: ## Plane Crash Debris Injures Diner Patron in Philadelphia

**Philadelphia, PA – February 1, 2025** – A chilling video circulating on social media captures the moment debris from a fatal plane crash rained down on a nearby restaurant, injuring a customer. The incident occurred just a quarter-mile from the site of Saturday’s crash, where a Learjet 55 carrying six people crashed in Northeast Philadelphia, killing all aboard.

The 16-second video shows patrons at the Four Seasons Diner on Cottman Avenue diving for cover as a piece of metal shatters a window and strikes a man sitting at a booth. Witnesses reported significant bleeding from a head wound. While the injured patron was transported to a hospital, diner employees and management confirmed that he is expected to recover. No other injuries were reported at the diner.

“He was bleeding, a lot of bleeding on his head. Just shocking,” Paul Pul, a diner employee, told 6abc Action News. Restaurant manager Ayhan Tiryaki added, “We are all pretty shaken, but everyone is okay.”

The Learjet, en route from Northeast Philadelphia Airport to Branson, Missouri, plummeted at a sharp angle before impact, creating a large fireball and scattering debris across a wide area. The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the cause of the crash. This incident comes just two days after a separate, deadly mid-air collision in Washington claimed 67 lives.
