**Bayuemas Oval, [Date]** – Four Indian players have been selected for the ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup 2025 Team of the Tournament following India’s victory over South Africa in the final. Leading the contingent is Player of the Tournament, Gongadi Trisha, who amassed an impressive 309 runs – 133 more than any other player – and also starred in the final with a three-wicket haul and a match-winning 44 not out.
Trisha is joined by fellow opener Kamalini Gunalan (143 runs), and bowlers Aayushi Shukla (14 wickets) and Vaishnavi Sharma (17 wickets – the most in the tournament). Sharma’s performance included a two-wicket haul in the final.
The Team of the Tournament also features a strong South African presence, with captain Kayla Reyneke (11 wickets) and Jemma Botha included. England contributes two players: Davina Perrin (176 runs, second-highest in the tournament) and wicket-keeper Katie Jones. Australia’s Caoimhe Bray and Nepal’s all-rounder Puja Mahato (70 runs and 9 wickets) also earned spots, along with Sri Lanka bowler Chamodi Praboda (9 wickets).
