**INDIANAPOLIS, IN –** The WWE Royal Rumble is coming to Indianapolis for the first time ever! The highly anticipated event will take place on Saturday, February 1st, 2025, at Lucas Oil Stadium. This year’s Rumble promises a spectacular night of wrestling action, featuring both men’s and women’s Royal Rumble matches, each with 30 superstars battling it out for a coveted WrestleMania 41 title shot in Las Vegas (April 19th & 20th).
The main event will be broadcast live on Peacock at 6 p.m. ET, with pre-show coverage beginning Friday, January 31st, at 4 p.m. ET and continuing on Saturday at 4 p.m. ET. Fans will need a Peacock subscription ($7.99-$13.99/month) to watch the event. No free trial is currently available.
This year’s card includes a high-stakes Undisputed WWE Championship Ladder Match featuring champion Cody Rhodes defending against Kevin Owens, and a WWE Tag Team Championship match pitting reigning champions #DIY against the Motor City Machine Guns. The traditional Royal Rumble matches will see wrestlers eliminated by being thrown over the top rope and having both feet touch the floor, with the last wrestler standing earning a WrestleMania title shot.
The WWE Royal Rumble has previously been held in St. Petersburg, San Antonio, and St. Louis. The move to Indianapolis marks a significant expansion for the event.
