**Ottawa, Canada** – Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced retaliatory tariffs against the United States in response to President Donald Trump’s 25% levy on nearly all Canadian imports. Trudeau, addressing Americans directly, highlighted Canada’s long history of military and humanitarian alliances with the U.S., emphasizing their intertwined economic relationship.
