**TIRUPATI, February 2, 2025** – The 17th Tirupati Book Festival commenced on Saturday with a vibrant ceremony at the Vinayaka Nagar grounds. Justice B.N. Srikrishna, the chief guest, inaugurated the festival, emphasizing the importance of promoting reading habits among youth. The opening was marked by a cultural procession carrying sacred texts like the Ramayana and Bhagavad Gita in a decorated palanquin.

The festival showcases a wide array of books from various publishers across India, covering diverse subjects including science, technology, literature, astronomy, economics, and Vedic studies. The event features stalls from numerous publication houses, offering a broad selection for attendees. Justice Srikrishna highlighted education’s role in fostering virtues and discipline.
