**Mumbai, February 2, 2025** – Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar was bestowed with the prestigious Col. C.K. Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Award at the BCCI Naman Awards 2025 held in Mumbai on February 1st. The award recognizes Tendulkar’s unparalleled contribution to Indian cricket over his 24-year international career, a career marked by numerous personal milestones and team victories. His 100 international centuries and 34,357 international runs cemented his status as a global icon.
Other notable award recipients included Jasprit Bumrah, who won the Polly Umrigar Award for Best International Cricketer (Men) for the third time, following his stellar 2024 performance, including a Player of the Tournament win at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. Smriti Mandhana won the Best International Cricketer Award (Women) for the fourth time, acknowledging her consistent high-level batting performance throughout 2024.
