**Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu, February 2, 2025** – NLC India Ltd. (NLCIL) fulfilled its corporate social responsibility (CSR) commitment by distributing artificial limbs and assistive devices to 390 people with disabilities (PwDs) in Cuddalore district, Tamil Nadu. The initiative, costing ₹1.08 crore, stemmed from a 2024 Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India Limited (ALIMCO). The program, initially focused on Cuddalore, has since expanded to NLCIL’s operations in Rajasthan and Odisha. Assistive devices distributed included walkers, motorized tricycles, conventional tricycles, and wheelchairs. Samir Swarup, Director (Human Resources) at NLCIL, oversaw the distribution.
