**MIAMI, FL (January 31, 2025)** – Drivers should be aware of significant road closures in Miami-Dade County this Sunday, February 2nd, due to the Miami Marathon. Law enforcement will be implementing closures from 5 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Coconut Grove, Downtown Miami, and Miami Beach.
Several major causeways will be affected, including the MacArthur Causeway (eastbound closure from 5 to 8:15 a.m.), the Venetian Causeway (6 to 10 a.m.), and the Rickenbacker Causeway (6:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.). Additionally, temporary closures will impact Brickell Avenue, Biscayne Boulevard, South and North Miami Avenues, and South Bayshore Drive.
Miami Beach closures (5 to 10 a.m.) will affect Alton Road, Ocean Drive, South Pointe Drive, Washington Avenue, Prairie Avenue, and Meridian Avenue.
