Sat Feb 01 15:30:00 UTC 2025: **Local Man Arrested for Assault with Baseball Bat**
EAST CARBON, UT [January 31, 2025] – Bobby Green of East Carbon was arrested on January 24th and charged with aggravated assault following an incident where a man was allegedly beaten with a baseball bat.
According to police reports, the victim, who had picked up a witness for a ride, was attacked by Green near his vehicle. Green, driving a white van, approached the victim’s car, struck him in the head with a baseball bat, and then pulled him from the vehicle to continue the assault. The witness intervened, causing Green to flee the scene.
The victim sustained injuries consistent with multiple blunt force impacts to the head. While Green claimed the victim fell and injured himself, police found no evidence supporting his claim, such as snow or ice, at the scene of the incident. A search of Green’s van did not recover the baseball bat.
Green is currently in custody awaiting trial. The investigation is ongoing.
