Sun Feb 02 14:50:00 UTC 2025: ## India Eye Series Win Against England in Mumbai T20 Finale

**Mumbai, February 1, 2025** – India will face England in the fifth and final T20I at the Wankhede Stadium on Sunday, February 2nd, holding a commanding 3-1 lead in the series after a 15-run victory in Pune. India will be aiming to clinch the series with a win.

The Pune match saw a stellar performance from Shivam Dube, who scored a match-winning 53 and was named Player of the Match. Dube, a late replacement for the injured Nitish Kumar Reddy, was himself replaced by concussion substitute Harshit Rana for the final match.

England, led by Jos Buttler, will be looking to salvage some pride and secure a victory in Mumbai. While they made a strong start chasing in Pune, their middle order crumbled, and India’s bowling attack proved too strong. Saqib Mahmood, in particular, shone, taking the wickets of Sanju Samson, Tilak Varma, and Suryakumar Yadav in one over – a triple-wicket maiden, a first for an England bowler against a Suryakumar Yadav-led team in T20Is.

**India Squad:** Suryakumar Yadav (capt), Axar Patel (vc), Abhishek Sharma, Sanju Samson (wk), Tilak Varma, Hardik Pandya, Rinku Singh, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Harshit Rana, Arshdeep Singh, Mohammed Shami, Varun Chakravarthy, Ravi Bishnoi, Washington Sundar, Dhruv Jurel (wk).
