**THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, February 2, 2025** – A bomb threat received by a hotel near Thampanoor in Thiruvananthapuram on Sunday morning has been declared a hoax following a thorough police search. The hotel manager received an email claiming a suicide bomb attack would occur at 2:15 pm.
Responding swiftly, city police, including anti-sabotage squads, evacuated guests and staff. After a comprehensive search, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Law and Order 2) Nakul Rajendra Deshmukh confirmed that nothing suspicious was found. The investigation continues, focusing on identifying the source of the threatening email. Fort police have registered a case. This incident follows similar threats received by two other hotels recently.
