**Mumbai, India** – Shahid Kapoor and Pooja Hegde’s action-thriller, “Bloody Daddy,” released on January 31st, has failed to meet box office expectations. While its second-day collection saw a slight increase, reaching approximately ₹6.25 crore, the film’s total earnings of ₹11.75 crore are still far from recouping its production costs.
The film, directed by Rohan Sippy, opened with a modest ₹5.5 crore on its first day. While evening shows performed better than morning screenings, particularly in Chennai, Mumbai, and Hyderabad, the overall response has been lukewarm. The film faces stiff competition from other releases like “Sky Force” and “Emergency.”
Industry analysts suggest that “Bloody Daddy,” despite its brutal action sequences, has not captured the audience in the same way as other recent action films, including Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s “Animal.” The film’s performance currently lags behind Shahid Kapoor’s previous box office successes.
