Sun Feb 02 20:39:49 IST 2025: ## YSRCP Leader Accuses Andhra Pradesh CM of Budget Failure

**Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh –** YSRCP MLC Botcha Satyanarayana sharply criticized Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday, alleging the state received insufficient funding in the recently announced Union Budget. Satyanarayana claimed Naidu failed to secure adequate allocations for Andhra Pradesh, contrasting the state’s outcome with that of Bihar, which received more despite having fewer Lok Sabha MPs.

Satyanarayana highlighted the lack of specific Andhra Pradesh mentions in the budget, beyond a single quote from playwright Gurajada Appa Rao. He questioned Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan’s welcoming of the budget instead of criticizing it.

The YSRCP leader further accused Naidu of hindering the development of 17 medical colleges initiated by Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, alleging that the stalled projects and a shift to a Public-Private Partnership model deny weaker sections access to education. He also warned against any potential reduction in the height of the Polavaram project, claiming it would severely impact Rayalaseema and Uttarandhra regions.

Satyanarayana concluded by stating that Naidu’s failure to deliver on promises and fiscal mismanagement demonstrate a lack of concern for the state’s welfare. He dismissed the recent resignation of V. Vijaya Sai Reddy from the YSRCP as a personal matter.
