Sun Feb 02 11:30:00 UTC 2025: ## Sexton Wins Glendale Supercross, Reclaims Points Lead; Lawrence Injured

**Glendale, CA** – Chase Sexton emerged victorious at the thrilling 2025 Glendale Supercross, reclaiming the 450 championship points lead. His win came despite a challenging race for several top contenders. Cooper Webb’s second-place finish bolstered his title hopes.

The 250 West class saw a nail-biting battle. Jordon Smith secured the Glendale win, closing the gap on points leader Julien Beaumer to just two points. Beaumer, despite crashes in both the first and second motos, managed to maintain his lead heading into a two-week break. Cole Davies finished third overall after a late-race crash. Haiden Deegan sits three points behind Beaumer.

The race was marred by injury for Jett Lawrence, who exited the track with what appeared to be a knee injury after finishing eighth overall. Further updates on his condition are awaited. Other notable performances included Ken Roczen, who remains within striking distance of Sexton, and Justin Hill, who finished seventh. Malcolm Stewart struggled, ultimately finishing eleventh. Despite a broken finger, Jo Shimoda displayed resilience with a tenth-place finish. Anthony Bourdon continues to impress, finishing eighth.

The 450 and 250 classes will now see separate races on the East Coast, starting next weekend in Tampa. The Motocross Action Magazine provided extensive coverage of the event, including race results, qualifying times, and behind-the-scenes videos. The magazine also featured product reviews and previews of upcoming races and events, such as the World Two-Stroke Championships.
