**Johannesburg, South Africa -** India’s Under-19 women’s cricket team has clinched its second consecutive ICC Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup title, defeating South Africa by 9 wickets in a one-sided final.
Winning the toss, South Africa elected to bat first but was bowled out for a paltry 82 runs. India chased down the target in just 12 overs, losing only one wicket in the process. Trisha Gongadi starred for India, scoring 44 runs and taking 3 wickets, earning her both Player of the Match and Player of the Tournament awards.
India remained undefeated throughout the tournament, winning all seven matches.
