**Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia:** India has defended its title, winning the ICC Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup 2025. In a dominant display at the Bayumas Oval on Sunday, the Indian team defeated South Africa by 9 wickets.
South Africa, winning the toss and electing to bat first, struggled to build momentum. Their innings was hampered by consistent wickets, with Trisha Gongadi taking 3 crucial wickets for just 15 runs. Only M. van Vuuren offered significant resistance with a top score of 23 runs, as South Africa was bowled out for a meager 82 runs in 20 overs.
