**Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh:** A new Telugu-language political thriller, “Pothugadda,” has premiered on the ETV Win OTT platform. The film, set against the backdrop of the Assembly elections in the Pothugadda constituency of Kurnool district, intertwines themes of love, politics, and money.
The narrative centers around the incumbent MLA, Samudra (Adukalam Naren), seeking re-election, and his rival, Bhaskar (Shatru), determined to unseat him. Bhaskar employs a lavish spending strategy, while Samudra utilizes his daughter, Geetha (Vismaya Sri), appointed as the district youth president, to garner youth and women’s votes. However, Geetha secretly plans to elope with her boyfriend, Krishna (Prithvi Dandamudi).
