Fri Jan 24 14:26:00 UTC 2025: ## FIITJEE Coaching Centers Shut Down, Leaving Thousands of Students in Limbo

**NOIDA/GHAZIABAD/PATNA** – Several FIITJEE coaching centers across India, including prominent locations in Noida, Ghaziabad, and Patna, have abruptly closed, leaving thousands of students in a precarious situation just months before crucial entrance exams like JEE Advanced and NEET. The closures, attributed to a mass teacher walkout over unpaid salaries, have sparked outrage among parents who have already paid hefty fees, ranging from Rs 3 lakh to Rs 4 lakh.

Parents are demanding refunds and answers, with tensions escalating rapidly. The timing of the closures, during the ongoing JEE Main exams, has compounded the distress, leaving students with incomplete studies and uncertain futures.

The mass exodus of teachers highlights a deeper crisis within the institution. A resurfaced January 2023 job advertisement from FIITJEE, promising lucrative salaries and even the potential to amass Rs 100 crore in seven years for exceptional teachers, stands in stark contrast to the current reality of unpaid faculty. The advertisement, found on LinkedIn, detailed a competitive salary structure, with top earners in classes 11-12 potentially receiving up to Rs 2.5 crore annually. It also promoted significant wealth-building opportunities in business development roles.

While FIITJEE’s promises once attracted highly qualified teachers from prestigious institutions like IITs, NITs, and IIMs, the current situation paints a picture of broken promises and financial instability. The institution’s failure to meet its financial obligations has left students and their families facing significant academic and financial disruption. The situation remains unresolved, leaving thousands grappling with uncertainty and demanding accountability from FIITJEE.
