**Chennai, January 25, 2025** – A ten-member Australian edtech delegation concluded a visit to Chennai, exploring collaboration opportunities with Indian public-private partnerships, educational institutions, and tech businesses. Organized by the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) under the Australia-India Business Exchange Programme, the delegation aimed to strengthen educational ties between the two countries.

The group, comprised of representatives from Australian edtech companies, higher education institutions, and universities, previously attended the India Digital Summit 2025 in New Delhi. According to Vik Singh, Trade and Investment Commissioner, Austrade, the Australian edtech sector offers solutions to bridge India’s educational gaps and upskill its workforce. These solutions, he stated, utilize interactive content and certificate programs to connect individual aspirations with national skilling goals.
