Fri Jan 24 02:10:00 UTC 2025: ## Ram Charan’s “Game Changer” Underwhelms at Box Office
**Hyderabad, India** – Ram Charan’s much-anticipated solo film, “Game Changer,” has fallen short of expectations at the box office, failing to reach the projected Rs 200 crore worldwide and Rs 150 crore India gross after two weeks in theaters. Initial inflated box office reports claiming over Rs 186 crore globally on its opening day proved inaccurate.
According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film’s worldwide gross stands at Rs 181.75 crore, with Rs 30.25 crore coming from overseas markets and Rs 151.5 crore (net collection of Rs 128.05 crore) from India. Daily collections have dipped below Rs 1 crore since its second Monday. Wednesday’s combined collection across all languages was a mere Rs 75 lakh.
The film’s underperformance is attributed to largely negative reviews and comparisons with the box office juggernaut, Allu Arjun’s “Pushpa 2.” Occupancy rates remain low, with the Telugu version registering 12.58% overall occupancy and the Hindi version at 7.43%. The Telugu version has grossed Rs 86.59 crore, and the Hindi version Rs 32 crore.
Produced by Dil Raju, “Game Changer” faced headwinds from both critical reception and the initial misleading box office figures. While the film’s highest occupancy was recorded in Karimnagar (Telugu version, 63%), the overall box office numbers suggest a significant shortfall from initial projections.
