**Patna, Bihar** – The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has announced the results for its 70th preliminary examination, with 21,581 candidates clearing the first stage. The cutoff marks for the General category in the Combined Competitive Examination are 91.00, significantly lower than the 69th preliminary exam’s 91.67. Other cutoffs include 81 for Unreserved Women, and 83 for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS). The 70th exam also saw lower cutoffs across other reserved categories compared to the 69th exam.
Separate cutoff marks have also been released for specific posts. For Finance Administrative Officer positions, the General category cutoff is 101, while Unreserved Women scored 98. The EWS cutoff stands at 97, and Backward Caste (BC) at 99.
For the post of Child Development Project Officer, 144 candidates have qualified for the main examination. Cutoff marks for this position vary by category, with the General category at 104.67, Unreserved Women at 100.67, EWS at 103.33, BC at 104.00, and Persons with Disabilities (Divyang) at 72.33.
