**Patna, Bihar:** The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released the results for its 70th Combined Preliminary Competitive Examination on bpsc.bihar.gov.in. Of the 328,990 candidates who took the exam, 21,581 have qualified. The results, including those for Finance Administrative Officer (FAO) and Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) positions, were released within 45 days of the exam.

The announcement comes after a period of controversy. Following allegations of irregularities at a Patna exam center (Bapu Exam Center), where some candidates reported late distribution of papers and pre-opened seals, a petition was filed in the Patna High Court demanding the exam’s cancellation. While the court case is ongoing (next hearing on January 31, 2025), the BPSC opted to only cancel the results from the Bapu Exam Center, re-administering the exam on January 4th.

The final answer key, released late Friday, incorporates changes based on objections raised by candidates. Several questions from both the December 13th and January 4th exams were deleted, and some answer options were corrected. A detailed list of deleted questions and amended answers for each question paper set (E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L) is available on the BPSC website.

The successful candidates will now proceed to the next stage of the selection process.
