**Kolkata, India** – Kerala Blasters FC’s hopes of making the ISL playoffs suffered a setback after a 2-1 defeat against East Bengal FC at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata. The loss follows a goalless draw against NorthEast United in Kochi.
Two goals from Malayali players Vishnu and Hijazi proved decisive for East Bengal, who dominated the match from the outset.
