Thu Jan 23 23:05:28 UTC 2025: ## Sehwag and Wife Reportedly Separating After 19 Years of Marriage

**NEW DELHI** – Indian cricket legend Virender Sehwag and his wife, Aarti Ahlawat, are reportedly separating after 19 years of marriage, according to multiple media reports. While neither Sehwag nor Ahlawat have issued any official statements, rumors of their separation have intensified after they allegedly unfollowed each other on Instagram.

Sources close to the family, cited by Hindustan Times, claim the couple has been living separately for several months and may soon divorce. The speculation began last Diwali when Sehwag posted a family photo featuring his mother and sons but notably excluded his wife. A subsequent trip to the Vishwanath Temple also lacked any mention of Ahlawat.

Sehwag and Ahlawat married in 2004 and have two sons, Aryaveer and Vedant. Ahlawat, a Delhi resident and a computer science graduate from Delhi University, has largely remained out of the public eye. The couple’s relationship began several years before their marriage.

The news of their potential separation has sparked considerable online discussion, with the topic trending heavily on social media. This development comes as Sehwag’s eldest son recently achieved a sporting milestone, breaking a record held by Andrew Flintoff.
