Thu Jan 23 05:10:10 UTC 2025: ## Samsung Unveils Galaxy S25 Series with Powerful AI Features and Improved Cameras

**Bengaluru, India –** Samsung launched its highly anticipated Galaxy S25 series on Wednesday, January 22nd, 2025, marking its first major global product launch of the year. The series comprises three models: the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra, all boasting significant upgrades focused on next-generation AI capabilities and enhanced camera technology.

A key feature across the range is the integration of AI-powered functionalities, including “circle to search,” call transcription, writing and drawing assistance, and the ability to generate images from text prompts. This is all powered by Samsung’s new One UI 7 operating system, based on Android 15. The phones also utilize the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, making them among the first to leverage Qualcomm’s newest mobile chipset. This places them in direct competition with other flagship phones using the same processor, such as the OnePlus 13, iQOO 13, and Realme GT 7 Pro.

Samsung has also emphasized security, incorporating post-quantum cryptography to protect user data against future threats posed by advancements in quantum computing. Camera improvements include a significant upgrade to the ultrawide camera, now featuring a 50MP sensor (compared to 12MP in the previous generation). The 200MP main camera remains, along with 50MP and 10MP telephoto lenses offering 5x and 3x zoom respectively. The selfie camera remains unchanged at 12MP. An “Audio Eraser” feature promises to remove unwanted background noise from videos.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra mirrors the iPhone 16 Pro Max with a 6.9-inch display, 2,600 nits peak brightness, and a 120Hz refresh rate. It features a titanium frame and Corning Gorilla Armor 2 protection, a 5,000 mAh battery (with 45W charging, but no included charger), and comes with 12GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. The S25+ features a slightly smaller 6.7-inch display and a 4,900 mAh battery (also with 45W charging, but no included charger), while the base S25 model has a 6.2-inch screen and a 4,000 mAh battery with 25W charging (and no included charger). Pricing starts at ₹80,999 for the Galaxy S25, ₹99,999 for the S25+, and ₹1,29,999 for the S25 Ultra. Pre-orders begin January 23rd, 2025.
